Dear Families,

Kennewick School District will be offering a Middle School Summer Program for current 6th and 7th grade students, and we want to make sure you are aware of this opportunity for your child.

The Summer Program will provide engaging, science-based learning experiences that integrate math and language arts, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Through exploration, teamwork, problem-solving, and meaningful literacy experiences, students will build academic confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and be prepared for success in the next grade.

📅 Program Dates: June 15 – July 16
📌Location: Highlands Middle School (NOT at Park Middle School)
🗓 Schedule: Monday–Thursday (No school on Fridays)
⏰ Summer Program Schedule:

• Breakfast: 7:30–8:00 AM
• Classes: 8:00–11:00 AM
• Lunch: 11:00–11:30 AM

🚌 Transportation is available for students outside the walking boundary (not provided for students outside the Highlands/Park boundary). You must register by May 12th to guarantee transportation to Highlands.

Important: Consistent attendance is essential. Students who enroll are expected to attend daily to fully benefit from the program.
